These are the full Terms & Conditions for using the Revaster app, including how our free and Premium plans work. The same Terms are also shown inside the App itself (Profile → Terms & Conditions), so you can always check them from your device, even offline.

1. Acceptance of these Terms

By creating a Revaster account, or by downloading, installing or using the Revaster app ("Revaster", the "App", the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms") and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not create an account and do not use the App. If you are accepting these Terms on behalf of a child or a person for whom you are a parent or legal guardian, you confirm you have the authority to do so and that you agree to these Terms on their behalf.

2. About the Service

Revaster is an independent revision and exam-practice tool for GCSE (and, where offered, other) students. It provides practice questions, mock papers, flashcards, progress tracking and related study features.

Revaster is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of AQA, Pearson Edexcel, OCR, or any other examination board or awarding body. References to exam boards, specifications, qualification codes or paper structures are included only to help you revise against the syllabus you are studying, and any practice questions in the App are either written by us or adapted by us for revision purposes — they are not official past papers or official mark schemes unless we expressly say otherwise, and links out to an exam board's own website (for genuine official past papers, for example) take you to that third party's site, which we do not control.

3. Eligibility and Age

Revaster is intended for use by students studying towards GCSEs or equivalent qualifications. If you are under the age of 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian is aware of and agrees to your use of the App, including any paid subscription. If you are under the age of 13, you must not create an account without the involvement of a parent or legal guardian, consistent with the age requirements of the app stores through which Revaster is distributed.

We rely on the information you provide when you tell us you (or your child) meet these requirements, and we are entitled to assume it is accurate.

4. Your Account

To use most of the App's features you need to create an account with an email address and password. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep your password confidential, and to tell us promptly (hello@revaster.com) if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission. You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account, except to the extent caused by our own breach of these Terms.

You may delete your account at any time from within the App (Profile → Delete account). Deleting your account permanently removes your saved progress and cannot be undone.

5. Subscriptions and Payment

Some features of Revaster (for example unlimited mock papers, unlimited quizzes, full subject content, personalised weak-area focus and unlimited use of the AI Tutor) are part of a paid subscription ("Premium"), offered on a monthly or annual basis as shown in the App at the time of purchase. Everything else remains available on the free plan, which may have usage limits (for example a daily practice allowance and a cap on the number of subjects you can set up at once) that we may change from time to time.

All Premium subscriptions are sold and billed through your Apple ID via the App Store, using Apple's in-app purchase system. Prices are shown in the App before you purchase and may vary by region. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.

6. Managing, Renewing and Cancelling your Subscription

Subscriptions are managed entirely through your Apple ID — Revaster has no ability to start, change, pause or cancel your subscription on your behalf, and does not process your payment details or issue refunds directly.

A subscription automatically renews for an additional period of the same length (monthly or annual, matching whichever plan you chose) unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price you most recently agreed to (or a new price, if we have given the required advance notice of a price change). You can review, manage or cancel auto-renewal at any time in your device's Settings app → [your name] → Subscriptions, or in the App Store app, and the Subscription section of this App links you straight there. Cancelling stops future renewals but does not refund the current, already-paid period, and your Premium access continues until the end of that period.

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under Apple's own refund policies, not by Revaster directly — if you believe you were charged in error, please contact Apple support, and feel free to also let us know at hello@revaster.com so we can help where we can.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: use the App for any unlawful purpose; attempt to gain unauthorised access to the App, our servers, or any other user's account; reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of the App except as permitted by law; scrape, copy or redistribute our question content or other material at scale; impersonate another person; cheat, exploit bugs, or interfere with features that compare users against each other (such as Battles or leaderboards) in bad faith; or otherwise interfere with the proper working of the App.

We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have breached this section.

8. Your Content and Feedback

If you submit feedback, bug reports, or suggestions to us (including through the in-app feedback form, which is sent to hello@revaster.com together with basic account details so we can follow up with you), you grant us an unrestricted, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use that feedback to operate, maintain and improve Revaster, without any obligation to credit or compensate you. Please don't send us anything confidential or anything you don't have the right to share.

9. Intellectual Property

The App, and all content within it (including our question bank, explanations, branding, logos, illustrations and software), is owned by Revaster or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trade mark and other intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on your own devices for your own personal study, subject to these Terms. You may not copy, sell, sublicense, rent, or otherwise exploit any part of the App or its content for any commercial purpose.

10. No Guarantee of Exam Results

Revaster is a practice and revision aid. While we aim for our content to be accurate, relevant and genuinely useful preparation, we do not guarantee any particular grade, mark, or exam outcome, and your results will always depend on many factors outside our control (including the real exam's content, marking, and your own preparation and performance on the day). Nothing in the App should be treated as a substitute for your school's own teaching, your teachers' advice, or the official specification and past materials published by your exam board.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including (without limitation) implied warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, that any errors will be corrected, or that the App or the servers that make it available are free of viruses or other harmful components. Nothing in this section limits any statutory rights you have as a consumer that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law: Revaster shall not be liable to you for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or academic or exam outcomes, arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us for Premium in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) £50.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Revaster, its founders, employees and contractors harmless from any claim, loss, liability or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the App, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, misused the App, or put other users or the Service at risk. You may stop using the App, or delete your account, at any time. Sections of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnity) will continue to apply.

15. Changes to the App and these Terms

We may update, change, or discontinue features of the App from time to time, and we may update these Terms as the App or the law changes. Where we make a material change, we will try to let you know in the App before it takes effect. Continuing to use the App after an update to these Terms takes effect means you accept the updated Terms; if you do not agree with a change, you should stop using the App and may delete your account.

Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we use it, and forms part of these Terms by reference. You can read it at any time from Settings → Privacy inside the App, or here on this website.

17. Governing Law

These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them or the App, are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales — except that if you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you may also be entitled to bring proceedings in the courts of, and under the mandatory consumer-protection laws of, your own country of residence.
